Configure an Azure Object Storage Source

Article Summary

This article will describe how to configure an Azure Blob Storage source in Bobsled.

Prerequisites

Before getting started, you must grant Bobsled access to your container. To learn how to do so, please visit Granting access to your Azure Blob Storage Source.

Configuring the Source

1. From the three-line menu in the top left corner, select Manage. 

2. Select the Sources tab.

3. Click Add Source

4. Enter a human readable name to describe the source.

5. Select Azure Blob Storage and the region of your source bucket. Click Continue to move to the next step. 

6. Enter the Source's Tenant ID where your container resides. Press "Test App Registration". 

    If the Bobsled Azure Application is already registered in your tenant, you will receive an "Application registered" check mark. Proceed to the next step. 

    If the Bobsled Azure Application is not already registered in your tenant:

       1. Click the link provided. Note that the the link will open in the next tab.  

       2. Press "Accept". You will be navigated back to Bobsled. You may close this window and return your initial tab. 

7. Enter the name of the storage account and container. (Optional) You may also include the path to the root of your source.
